the one to walk the crooked line.

a very different state of mind.

Each day you try your best
to push me towards conformity.
To put my dreams to rest
to focus on reality.

But you can’t tell me
what my life should and shouldn’t be.
Because what’s right for you
doesn’t hold its truth for me.

Have I wasted all these years
Are my chances really gone?
